If you are looking to further improve your skills, or want help getting started, another great option is joining BBDT. The Badger Ballroom Dance Team is BAM's sister club and members of each club are encouraged to become members of the other. BBDT teaches lessons in Ballroom and Latin dance that are aimed at multiple skill levels throughout the school year and the summer. Never danced before? Years of experience? Badger Ballroom Dance Team The Badger Ballroom Dance Team (aka BBDT) provides a venue for the competitive collegiate ballroom dancer or any dancer wishing to improve his or her skills through weekly lessons and practices. Madison Swing This energetic group is all about getting together to learn swing, to dance, meet new people and have fun. All skill levels are welcome, from those who barely know the basic steps to the masters! The primary focus is on Jitterbug swing, similar to East Coast Swing. Madison Rueda Madison Rueda is a club for UW-Madison students, faculty and friends meet to dance "Rueda de Casino", a Cuban-style group dance. |
